IT and Games Job Fair at Helsinki Games Factory (April 6th 2019) is a great
opportunity for Finnish companies to join us and meet talent from Russia and
This time around we are looking for around 6-10 Finnish companies, mainly
from the creative industries, to join us.
There is no participation fee for the
event, but there will be a 2000 EUR success fee for made hires.
You will get to interview pre-selected candidates of your choise at the event for your open job
positions, and based on previous events, likely to hire 1 or 2 of them. You choose
the length of the interviews, more interviews lead to more potential hires.
The pre-selected candidates will be transported to Helsinki by bus from St Petersburg and by ferry from Tallinn. The expenses will be covered by the event.
We recommend each company brings two representatives: one to conduct
interviews and one to talk with the candidates in the general networking area.
The detailed schedule for the event will be provided at a later date.
200 expected resumes (based on previous events), around 25% of which are specialists/senior level.
The candidates provide a resume, cover letter, and possible portfolios along with a choice of the companies and positions they want to apply for.
The companies can screen candidates when the registration is opened. Provide the candidates that you are interested in with extra questions and tasks.
Preliminary remote interviews can be used to narrow down the potential candidates for the event itself.
The database of candidates will be available to you for 6 months after the event, so you might find someone later for a job position you have not yet announced.
We will forward you potential candidates to interview, while also promoting the event and your company. Feel free to do preliminary interviews and send tasks to the candidates you are interested in during this time period.
We are going to organize a Warmup event at the end of February, taking place simultaneously at Helsinki Games Factory and the House of Finland in St Petersburg.
The participating companies will get together in Helsinki for a live stream, providing them a chance to introduce themselves, as well as to answer any questions the talent in St Petersburg and online might have.
The recording will be uploaded online and used as a FAQ resource for the talent.
Open position specs and candidate requests from companies; Studios provide an intro text and video about themselves for promotional use.
Registration opens; scheduling of interviews starts (upon request).
